Faculty Update
We are sad to say goodbye to Dr. Ricky Punzalan, who has been a co-director of the MSMC program for the past two and a half years. Ricky has started at the University of Michigan as an Associate Professor of Information, School of Information. We wish you all the best in your new position!
Meet an Alum
Kevin McDonald received his BA in archaeology and theater history from Tufts University in Somerville, MA and his Masters in Applied Anthropology and Certificate in Museum Scholarship and Material Culture from the University of Maryland, College Park. While at UMD, he worked as a Graduate Assistant at the David C. Driskell Center, performing administrative duties, writing grants, and co-curating an exhibition for his certificate project. After UMD, he joined Glenstone Museum's Emerging Professionals Program as a Museum Guide, and he currently serves on contract as Glenstone's Communications Assistant, managing select digital projects and social media for the museum.
